Earlie Ray Vanderhall
Deputy Earlie Ray Vanderhall was the first African American Deputy Sheriff in Dillion South Carolina in 1967. He passed 2011.

Ronnie Casey Jr.
President
Ronnie Casey Jr. is the President and a founding member of the Shades of Blue. Preceded in the department by his grandfather and uncle he became a 3rd generation Deputy Sheriff at the Mahoning Co. Sheriff Department starting in 1997. Ronnie is a part time Youngstown State University Police officer and a certified weapons instructor. In the community Ronnie is a Football coach on the youth and high school levels for over 20 years.
K.G Thornton
Treasurer
Kent is the Treasurer and a founding member of The Shades of Blue. Having started in 1990 Kent is a 30-year veteran of the Mahoning Co. Sheriff Dept Kent is also a part-time officer with the Youngstown State University Police Dept. In the community, Kent is an 18-year veteran of The U.S. Marines and the U.S Air Force Reserves. Kent has also been a high school football coach for the past 29 years. He also teaches youth swimming.


M.J Greene
Recording Secretary Officer
Mary Jane is a founding member of the Shades of Blue and a 20 year veteran of the Mahoning Co. Sheriff Dept having joined in 2000. Mary Jane was motivated by her father Clarence "Juice" Greene and his service with the Youngstown Police Department to become a 2nd generation BLEO. In the community Mary Jane is a member of the Cardinal Mooney Minority Alumni Council.

Malik Mostella
Vice President
Malik Mostella is the Vice-President and a founding member of the Shades of Blue. Malik is a 20 veteran of the Youngstown Police Dept. He is a negotiator for the Mahoning Valley Crisis Response Team. He is currently the community liaison officer for the Chief of Police through planning and training. In the community Malik is a Track coach for the Youngstown Striders starting in 1997. Currently he coaches track for Ursuline High School and also coaches High School football locally for the past 23 years.
Kenneth Bledsoe
Information Officer
Kenneth Bledsoe is a founding member of the Shades of Blue and the Information Officer. Kenny is a 26 year veteran of the Mahoning Co. Sheriff Dept. Kenny is a part time officer with The Youngstown State University Police Dept.


Will Harris
Public Relations officer
Will Harris is a 20 plus year veteran or the Mahoning Co Sheriff Dept. Will has served in the Patrol division and is now currently serving in the detective division.
